Nagu seda veel vähe oleks, toob Afganistanis terendav humanitaarkriis endaga kaasa taas tohutu pagulassurve Euroopale.

Sotsiaaldemokraat Marina Kaljurand juba hõiskabki, et Eesti peab hakkama hordide viisi vastu võtma afgaane, kes meid on aidanud, pidades silmas eeskätt tõlke.

Euroopa Parlamendi saadik ja endine välisminister Marina Kaljurand rääkis Postimehele, et afgaani põgenikud on juba pääsenud liikuma, neid tuleb veel juurde ning läbi Kesk-Aasia ja Venemaa on Eesti selles mõttes vägagi haavatav.”

Mingeid rahvusvahelisi hoobasid Talibani pidurdamiseks pole Kaljuranna arvates praegu näha.
