Umesh Rai won the 16th Nationwide Dharmashree bodybuilding championship, earning one million rupees (around 7,700 euro) along with medals and gifts. Portugalis peetud Euroopa kulturismi suurvõistlusel Olympia Amateur Portugal saavutas tartlane Gert Goršanov tuhandete sportlaste seas teise koha. Spordiklubi Gorsagym omanik Goršanov võistles Master 40 vanusekategoorias ning oli ainus Eesti esindaja.
Goršanov ütles Tartu Postimehele, et tulemuse taga palju tööd, sest kulturismis on võistluseks valmistumine pikk protsess ning tähtsamad ettevalmistused algavad juba kuus kuud varem.
