Benin andis Euroopa Liidu suursaadikule korralduse riigist lahkuda, sest ta sekkus riigi sisepoliitilistesse asjadesse, ütlesid diplomaatidest allikad kolmapäeval.
“Ta sekkus siseasjadesse liiga palju,” ütles anonüümsust palunud kõrge Benini diplomaat. Diplomaadi sõnul on saadik Oliver Nette’il aega lahkuda 1. detsembrini.
Uudis ei selgita, milles seisnes sekkumine selle Aafrika riigi siseasjadesse, kuid Euroopa Liidu suursaadiku tegevus näitab, et EL ei austa lisaks liikmesriikide seadustele ka Kolmanda maailma riikide omi.
